Equo, the leading equestrian online event entry service from Horse & Hound, has formed a strategic partnership with Dark Deer which specialises in equestrian software solutions and timing equipment.
The partnership will create an integrated software solution for commercial equestrian venues, allowing them to manage competitive events more easily at every stage of the event, from pre-show and over the counter entries through to show management, timing and results.
Equo is the online entry system which enables riders to spend more time competing and less time dealing with event entry admin. Whether you’re a show organiser or a rider, Equo saves time, money and effort through its comprehensive, easy to use service.
Thousands of riders book events through Equo every month. The service is fully compatible and responsive on desktop, mobile and tablet. Riders can login across multiple devices and continue booking on any of these platforms.

Dark Deer has been supplying Showjumping timers for years to centres across the UK and has the most affordable and easy to use products on the market as testified by many judges and show centre owners. These timers now form an integrated part of our latest product, a show centre system called “Showmanager” which is now being used by both large and small centres throughout Britain and Ireland.
The unique feature of Showmanager is that as well as managing the whole show, it integrates many functions under one application. This includes rider registration, collecting ring, judging, timing, billing and payments, arena and spectator area displays, etc. It is a “joined-up” solution. Dark Deer are currently working on integration with the BS suite of scheduling, judging and results applications but until now the main omission has been integration with an online registration system and this is remedied by our partnership with Equo.
